Your baby changes so much during the first year. Each phase of development is an opportunity to capture enduring memories and important milestones. Experience the joy of knowing you are capturing those unique and fleeting moments. Examples you might consider could include:
Newborn – This is a great time to focus on all the little details that are gone all too soon as they grow like weeds – thehands, fingers, toes and the special bond between a newborn and parent. Mom and Dad should be dressed in long sleeved black shirts and dark pants or jeans. Your baby can be bare, in their diaper with a diaper cover, or can wear a cloth diaper.
6 months – This is a time to highlight the dawn of your baby’s independence. Your child should be sitting independently for this session. Appropriate clothing includes: Diaper covers, bloomers, overalls, tulle skirts or a simple solid-colored outfit.
1 year – What a great time to capture the essence of your baby’s personality! Choose either a formal or casual session. Clothing ideas include: overalls, bare feet, tulle dresses, solid shirts and slip dresses.
Spouses or partners are always welcome (in fact encouraged) at no additional charge.
We also have a First Year Plan that carries you throughout the year. You can choose to come in on your child’s milestone or come in when you desire. Each plan includes a specific number of sessions, however; you have up to 5 years to use these sessions. We have many moms that are avid “planners” and some choose to come every 3 months, while others may only come every 6 to 9 months or even yearly. Regardless, your plan stays intact and you won’t pay for any session fees during the life of your plan (unless you choose additional sessions outside of your plan).
The following plans are for one child. To add additional children to your plan, it is an additional $100.00 per year per child added to the plan. For returning baby plan clients, there are no additional charges for your children.
- Maternity – First Year: $1,230.00 Includes 7 sessions, 6 are in your paid plan and we give you one free when you complete your plan. Plan includes a $70 print credit to be used at each session in the paid plan (does not apply to free session). Your yearly print credit totals $420.00.
- Newborn – First Year: $1025.00 Includes 6 sessions, 5 are in your paid plan and we give you one free when you complete your plan (we consider a newborn – birth to 6 weeks) Plan includes a $70 print credit to be used at each session in the paid plan (does not apply to free session) Yearly print credit totals $350.00.
- First Year Package: $820.00 Includes 5 sessions, 4 are in your paid plan and we give you one free when you complete your plan. Plan includes a $70 print credit to be used at each session in the paid plan (does not apply to free session) Yearly print credit totals $280.00.
- To participate in any of these plans, plan fees must be paid by first session. For new clients booking Pregnancy-Newborn the session fee is due at time of booking. When booking any of the Baby Plans, you can pay a deposit of $200.00 at time of booking and the balance on your first session day.

At each session we welcome participation of the partner/spouse and/or children. At each session during the first year we will always photograph the milestone, such as:
Newborn – sleeping, awake, mom and baby, dad and baby, sibling and baby (if applicable) – as well as any props – cozy blankets, hats, pettis, etc.
- 3 Months – on tummy and on back – head up if possible and capture any priceless expressions
- 6 Months – crawling, sitting up
- 9 Months – standing
- 12 Months – standing/walking
- 18 Months – running or climbing or anything else they are doing
Every baby is different. You do not need to wait until they are hitting their milestones, you can simply schedule to come in whenever you choose.
During any session you can have mom/baby, dad/baby, siblings or anything else you can think of. You can also have us go on location – just add a $45.00 location fee (within 30 minutes of Urbana-Champaign).
